48*

Putting together my own low cost custom stamps is a new mini craft project I have been trying out. Above is my most recent creation, the MOUSTACHE STAMP! I will be continuing to make these fun little stamps, and then putting together some A1 sheets of hand printed wrapping paper. The papers' pattern will be a repeated stamped pattern (as seen above)

I have also been thinking of other applications of the stamps made, maybe for some slightly more infantile add-ons to the newspaper...

Artist's Profile

Multidisciplinary artist working predominantly in sculpture and mixed media. Taking inspiration from traditional construction and building techniques , I create objects and images that offset raw materials with vivid colour and crafted surfaces.

My current series of work is focused on the digestion of visual material. Creating collages from found imagery I meticulously paint a copy of the collage onto boards and finally create the work from cutting up the painted boards and building sculptures from the remnants of this destructive process.

The sculptures themselves bring into focus an ongoing investigation into the application of craft processes and materials in the creation of robust sculptural objects.
